Trusted Australian Angus genetics built for profitable beef production

Royden is a registered Angus stud based at Evans Plains, NSW, focused on producing maternal genetics that perform in high-stocking-rate, commercially driven beef systems

For nearly 190 years, the McKay family has farmed this country

Today, Royden represents the next chapter: a purpose-built stud program combining generations of on-farm knowledge with some of the most elite Angus genetics available in the world.

Every animal we breed is selected to deliver real outcomes on the farm, more kilograms of beef per hectare, higher stocking rates, and a more profitable beast from the ground up.

A world first in Australian Angus genetics

Royden is home to the first progeny born in Australia from Coleman Chloe 021 — a cow whose full sister, Coleman Chloe 9275, sold in 2021 for USD $750,000, making her the most expensive Angus cow ever sold. These calves represent a genuinely unique opportunity to access some of the best maternal Angus genetics ever produced.
